What a great bunch of people today ...

Just to say thanks to Mark (Zigga) for organising and for all the guys who turned up today for the Wedge Mini Christmas do at Danson Park. I am sure there will be a few pictures added to the thread but what a great bunch of people with their Wedges and some other nice interlopers (Fiat X19 - Hatter) and the classic mini (Mrs Maston!)

This reminded me one of the reasons why i love these cars ......... thanks everyone and safe trip home!

Thanks chris..I know i organised it but the credit goes to you for suggesting it in the first place and to everyone who turned up and made it a great christmas buffet..I was a little apprehensive as they didnt even have table cloth's on the table's..Just glad they had serviettes..Its a bit uncouth wiping your face on the table cloth....Nice line up of wedges and an X19 and a classic mini..glad everyone enjoyed the food..I offered to review the restaurant so if you wish to do so then please visit their site..Good to see everyone..Cheers..Ziga

The first batch of chips were wedges..Very appropriate but the second batch was after i asked for more deep fried prawns and pigs in blankets..No substitute really...Ziga

Fab event, well done for doing the organising Mark! I thought the venue was ideal; plenty of tasty food and having the reserved parking area was a big bonus. Good selection of cars as well; 280, Cossie 24V, 350, 390, 400...

Looks like you all had a good time. Even though I couldn't afford to go, I would like to thank Chris for thinking of the idea and Mark for organising it. Hopefully if it happens again next year, I will be able to afford to go. I might even make one of the Saturday meets one day. If you don't mind an ex wedge owner turning up in a euro box of course...

Thanks peeps..It would be good to do it again next year...And i cant see why not..The more the merrier...TVR-NUT: You could of popped along mate, There was enough food in fact some got wasted..(I forgot me doggy bag/Hamper)..And you are more than welcome to pop down to the park meet.. Cheers mrzigazaga. I wouldn't have just turned up on the hop like that, as it wouldn't have been fair on everyone. Also I have manors. Hopefully I will be able to meet up with you at danson one day, although you may have to hold the meet slightly later, as I would be coming up from Dover (unless of course I happen to be visiting my mother in law in Bexley at the time).
