Hi all,
a while ago I had a new roof fitted but never did the removable section mainly because I never use it unless......

so I think it maybe a good idea to at least have it with me just incase.
Having had the screen replaced and the surround resprayed I did'nt want to put the roof in as it is what caused the damage to the paintwork, also once the fabric was removed the top and bottom sections of the hardtop had seperated and needed reglassing, the female fittings were also a bit shabby and who knows where they originate, someone suggested a seatbelt fitting????? so I thought I would make some ally ones
Anyway..........

I've had the roof reglassed so now I have to replace the nylon lugs and ensure it fits perfectly before recovering...
cheers

Adam

PS went out for a run this morning for coffee and a B&E roll in the sx, but had to go home early, it got too hot........merryxmas

They'd be simple enough to cast.

The way I did it is fairly simple, I just cut out all the bits from scrap ally plate and some bits of angle then glued them together with fusal which is an automotive glue for metal and it is bloody strong. Bit of filing and a polish then glued in places with sikaflex.

Every body tilt your head to the leftlaugh
Blame the iPhone!!!
