Wow this is a great post so much info ! i have a 1986 s2 American spec car , still not sure how many s2 models were ever made ? it has the rear brake light in the boot lid ,does any body out there know many s2 280i were made for the American market ?

I remember reading this a while back and forgot to bookmark it..It inspired me to modify my air intake box with a K&N even though i had the box made rather then modifying the existing intake..A good bit of info..Mine is bookmarked too..Thanks roy..Ziga
