Just a quick moan,
Recently in trying to get engine going again I've had to buy 3 rotor arms due to breaking them, either standing on, not in dist properly or just metal strip falling off.
So I've now visited 3 retailers, Halfrauds, Cafco and Partco for the same part
Prices
Halfrauds @ £9
Cafco @ £11
Partco @£1.20
Now I think that's a big difference for something that is a copy of he original, none were supplied by lucus or bosch parts either
Moan over, just need to try and get the monster running smoothly now and idle below 3000 rpm

Hmmm - most interesting.
Rotor arm for Ferrari £125.
I can hear the thud as you all hit the floor!
Glad I wasn't changing my Ferrari engine as broke 2 arms !!
Thats only a 100 times more expensive, is the Wedge 100 times less in value then ? Against a similar age car I mean and not your latest !!
The Ferrari is older than the Wedge and it is not worth 100 times more! I wish!
On my limited funds I could only afford a 400i.
You can buy them for as low as £5,000 but really good ones are worth about £20,000. So says one of the classic car mags only to be contradicted by its own prices guide which never seems to change.
In fact I feel that the price guides are rather meaningless and useless.
I know someone who breaks (gulp!) 400s - even good ones - he tells me he makes more money that way! But thank goodness he does because some parts are just not made anymore or are just not available otherwise.
