Hey - it's in one piece, and mostly its original shape, so it's FINE !! biglaugh

(On the basis it's the tie bar bush, my original ones had rotted to almost powder !)

It definatly shows some wear but not sure that is enough to feel when driving but for the reasonable cost of replacement i would just get some new ones and be done with it.

It's not just the wear factor you need to consider but its perish factor. After a while in the elements they tend to loose their firmness and fail to function as intended. That one looks as though it's passed its best before date.

That's the trouble with polyurethane: it can't recover from being distorted out of shape. I fitted poly ARB drop link bushes because 'everyone said' they were better... and maybe they were, for about a fortnight. Now they look like the dog chewed them, and as soon as I get the back end back together I'll be changing them back to rubber ones.

Yes, ok for competition cars where they change everything every other week.

Usually there's a sensible reason why original equipment is fitted.
