As part of my bodge to fix a broken cable I've now an adjustable cable:-) Before, to get full throttle the pedal had to be mashed to the carpet, now I'm 6' tall and it was still a stretch if I wasn't going to have my left knee round my ears for the high clutch. Now with the cable adjustable I can get a much more sensible throttle position that's great for H&T and matches the other pedals. The worry though is that now the only 'stop' for the throttle is the one on the Carb (I've a webber 500) so if I stamp on the throttle I'm quite likely to break the cable. I guess what I;m after is whether there should be a pedal stop in the footwell on on the pedal lever itself - otherwise I'll have to rig one up...

I would say you definitely need a stop in the foot-well if you are sure you want the peddle higher
