Front brake upgrade

Hi All

When I got my car there was a complete set of vented discs, pads and calipers in the boot.

Does anyone know where to get the fitting kit from? Pad locating pins, springs etc. I believe they are from a Mk2 2.8 Granada estate? Loads of fitting kits around forn MK2 Granada, but can't find one for these. I assume the pins will need to be longer than the standard brakes?

hi, you can use your hub ect;s, that bolts on too the vented disc, and the two bolts off your car for fixing on,and the brake pipe holder,the pads you need are ebc - dp2296 green one.s for fast road use,these are on ebay 50,00 pounds,you should get the shims some where on there too and the pins,the pads are 96mm long for them, i put granada on my on too, email if you having trouble fitting ect,s,

Don't forget you need the 10mm spacers, the 8mm ones (of which there are loads about) won't spread the caliper wide enough to wrap around a vented disc.

he will not need that .the granada one is made for the vented disc,

@superwedge: Where did you purchase the ARB drop links? They are not the standard ones like my car has fitted

got them off steve h,but he gone now.but there are site,s on ebay that do rose joint;s ,

Doh! Of course, as on my 390 (standard Ford caliper with spacers fitted by the factory). I automatically thought of the Princess calipers..
