Hi,

Iam looking for the very, very early TVR Tasmin V6 door mirrors. Mine are broken and gone. Does anybody has some left over ? Black, manual, original and both sides, if possible. Thanks for replies.

Stuart,

Do you have anything of this type...

It's actually just the bezels I need?

Chris.

Chris

Is it just the back metal plate (Which rusts well) if so you can get a fibreglass replacment panel from TET. a sod to fit but no more rust problems with your mirrors!

Andy,

No not the mirror backs, I already have GRP ones. It's the black plastic bezel thats around the mirror glass, they pull out of the main plastic mirror body.

Chris.

Hi Peeps...I have been wondering about the mirrors for ages and while i was at the ford garage i noticed that the capri ones look very similar..Not sure if they are the same..I was looking at the chrome ones for mine..Would look better than the howlfrauds specials...Cheers...Ziga

I have bid on a very similar pair of mirrors on the bay (I wont put the item number up in case one of you buggers out bids me lol)

I didnt notice when I first got the car that the mirrors were well and truly FUBAR, they are held together with black insulating tape. I daren't take the tape off to look at them because it feels all crunchy underneath.

Hi Andy...I was thinking along those lines but not sure if the base plate will cover the damage caused by the others..They would be a nice touch...Cheers..Ziga

I'm thinking about replacing my mirrors as well, the ones I have are ok but I have to fold them (in this case up) to get the car in the garage without risking damage to the mirrors (I broke one before becasue I forgot!) I'm wondering if ones that fold "in" might be a better idea as they are less likely to go all floppy on me?

I'll try and take some pics when I'm with the car next.

Pushing this up again.....

Has somebody got this Tasmin mirrors? A pair, or just the left one?

Any idea where to buy?

Thanks Matt
