I need the retaining screw cap thingy that holds the electric Ariel in place on top of the rear wing and screws down onto the body of the ariel itself. Don't suppose anyone out there has one or who knows where i can get one. Can Zoogle come up trumps again?

Have you got a photo and some dimensions?

I have a box of old aerial bits somewhere, might have one to fit. I'm assuming TVR didn't use the same electric aerial in all wedges

I'll try and look tomorrow. Do you need all 3 bits (nut, black plastic swivel and metal cap)?

If Danny can't find one I might have a busted one that I swapped out (trapped the aerial under the boot) which might have the bit you need.

I've found my box of bits and I have 2 different sizes of nuts, neither of which are the same as the aerial fitted to my '85 350i.

The hole on one is 7mm, the other is 14mm. Looking at your photo you need one that is just over 8mm.

Happy to send you these and the other bits I have which I'm sure will be fine, and just send me back what you don't use.

PM me your address

Cheers

Danny
