Bar2 run 28th - 30th june

After missing last year the Bar run is back. For anyone interested accomodation is at the Premier inn at Newton Aycliffe on the 28th and 29th June ( £77 for the 2 nights if booked online ). The runs will be covering Durham and North Yorks areas and just touching into Cumbria on the Sunday.

Better supply a compass as well, if you can get LOST on a straight bit of road what are you going to like in the Yorkshire Dales,lol.

just completed the Saturday run all coming together nicely, approx 150 miles with some fantastic roads and scenery around the north yorks moors. Time for a couple of pics. Notice the old boiler behind the wedge blowing off steam nearly as much as the Sir Nigel Gresley pulling out of Goathland (Aidensfield) station, was it the original wedge.


Tomorrow the Sunday run up the North Yorks Dales, then roll on the last weekend in June.

What is the Bar run and where? Hate to miss out on a bit of northern wedge action, or southern but not as southern as others.

But saying that i flew home from Oman to make sure i was at the first one,,,,,,So you never know...

same format as the unsweetened IRN BRU run but with unbleached milk, get yourself down we are running from Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham up the North Yorks moors on saturday and up the North Yorks dales on sunday.
