Alright gents. I have seen a number of posts on here from a while back regarding remote bushes but can't find anywhere to get some replacements from. Does anyone know where I can source a set from for my 420se?
I plan to get under it at the weekend and have a go, will I need to drop the exhaust to access or can you manage to get in?
Cheers guys.

Check for Lt77 bushes on fleabay. I got poly ones for £24.

Took out the centre console on the 350i, managed some from above, and some from under the car.

I replaced mine, as I couldn't change from 3rd to 2nd. They've made a huge difference to the gearshift.

You can do it all from underneath. No need to remove center console.

That said I had the use of a 4 post lift...................

Thanks guys for the updates.
Will have a go at the weekend if I can source the bushes.
If I manage to get underneath will I have to remove the exhaust for access?

Not only that, there is no point, as it will just reveal a hole that the gearstick goes through - no room to get your hands in there to underneath.

I found it easier to get at the top mounting bushes through the gearstick hole. Mind you I've got small hands and a wobbly extension jester

How many will I need?

Had a quick look under the wedge tonight and it looks like I need to replace numerous bushes on the front end also frown going to be a bigger job than I thought.

Any ideas on sourcing a bush kit for the front end?

Hi

The gear change bush sets are avaliable on F-bay!

The rest of the bushes for suspension etc are all avaliable from RT, or CWR/David Geralds and ML parts (Neil ex TVR Car Parts)
So no problems to get what you need, but most of the kits today are polly not the original rubber bushes. personaly I try and find the original rubber were I can.

Has anybody got any front Spring rubber insulators?
