My experience of coil overs is that you need to know what you want from them, who and where to get them from. How much you want to pay. Don't buy any conversion kits as they are pants. If you intend to modify your chassis get a pro to do it for you. The best people to speak to IMO are they guys from Track V Road. And yes I do speak from experience....
Gents,
I Got a quote from T v R for a full coil over conversion, due to the modifications needed to the chassis requiring welding they will not offer a kit either. They quoted me 2 days labour for the stripping down, chassis mods, and geo setup plus a set of Gaz coilovers and new bottom arms to suit came in at ~ £1200, if you wanted Nitons it would be another ~ £300 or so.
Having a reasonably well equipped garage I will probably DIY it at some point and make my own mounts and replacement bottom arms as once you remove the spring cup they are not overly complex.
