Hi
I know its not a wedge thing, but I have just seen the line up of cars the Wheeler Dealears are doing for there new series.
The start with a Aston Martin DB7 and later in the series a TVR Cerbera!
Now that will be some thing to watch!

I've go a bit of an itch for one of those, if only SWMBO wouldn't notice it at home

You have an itch for a Cerb, well all I can say is give it a scratch mate, because there is nothing else like a Cerb, Wedges are great and I would not be without them but the Cerb is the best TVR there is, yes it has its problems (What TVR doesn't, thats why we love them) but for power, ride, looks etc its the best overall TVR.
In fact its the first all TVR.
My Cerb would be the last TVR to go if I ever sold up! I just hope I can drive it again (Soon)
In fact she was the last TVR I did drive after the pics below I put here away! The next day is History!
Pic from the last day I got it out and did drive it (27/11/2011)
One day I will even if it kills me!
The show is on Tuesday 26th March at 9.00pm

At least they're usually positive about Tivs, unlike those pratts at TG.
Hi GrahamWell this time will be interesting because the advert says it's had a new chassis fitted. I can just imagine ed finding the wrotten Chassis and having a war dance over it. Or with luck they buy it knowing it needs a chassis etc like he did with the Morgan!
I can see it being an interesting program to watch!

Yours does look lovely.
I'm sure you'll get back in it one day, hopefully in the not too distant future too.
At the moment I think I'm going to focus on my wedge this year, especially in the current economic climate

Well there's that, plus I may have a FHC project on my hands soon, time will tell on that one, hopefully I'll know more next week.
I think the fact that every single TVR is individual is a huge part of the appeal for me, the forum on here is amazing and means that I get all sorts of technical as well as moral support that just doesn't happen in the "real world" very much anymore.
That and the fact that I can stand on one side of the engine, my Dad on the other and my 15 year old son in the middle and look at an engine that we can understand and demonstrate to junior how air, fuel, water, oil and electric combines, in a way that just doesn't work the same on my brand new Mondeo!
Plus we all love the roar of the V8

Oh and of course not forgetting the wedge fest, which was the first event I went to last year after I bought my wedge
A cerb will definitely be on the cards next year though, as unless I win the lottery, I think it'll be a while until I can afford a Sag

I've set a diary reminder ready for the new series, as it'll be interesting to see how they get on with it.
Thanks again for letting us know
Cheers for now
Mark

I have had an itch for a cerb for a while now as there are 3 of us it would be ideal but the engine has always put me off.Look forwards to what big ED has to say and do.
Jon,That's another reason for me too.
The fact that there's room for 4 people is a huge appeal for me,
Share the experience with more than just one person
just need to decide who the other 3 are!My son is nearly 15 and about the same sort of size as me, so he'll fit in the back no problem at all!
SWMBO isn't interested in the slightest

My dad may well have a bit if an issue getting in anywhere other than the front seat

I keep telling him he needs to update to something with more reindeer power per ton to get around and about
