Hi Mate...Check the hoses first...I had what started as a small leak and eventually used to fill the gaiter which wasnt too bad until you parked up and all the fluid gets squashed out!!..If its leaking from the seals at one end or both then you will need to get it sorted..Also avoid running the pump dry as this will cause the bearing's in the pump to fail..I had mine refurbed by Pro-hydraulic ltd in greenwich, They collect and deliver but its cheaper to take it there..Cost me 150 sobs..(Cash)..The leak stop science on all those type's of product's are not a solution..Just a temporary fix..Ziga

As far as I know, it's a 2.3 Cortina Mk4 - the only model with Power steering as standard option.

Many years ago I had a slight leak from Power Steering rack end seal.
I spoke to one of the TVR specialists about reconditioning (no exchange racks available).
He said try using Slick 50 power steering fluid.
I did.
Leak gradually stopped - that was about 10 years ago.
Still using it.

Tried same on a Scimitar Power steering rack, but the leak was more severe and it did not work!
