1989 350i, does anyone know what the power steering rack came from,?

Hi Mate...You may have a "Supra/TVR" rack..As they were fitted to cars from 1985 onwards..Either way a refurb is the best option..Replace the track rod ends as well..I believe they are the same as what mine needed which were granada MK2..Just snoogle TVR tasmin Track rod ends..Hope this helps...Ziga

Just to be awkward, my '87 car has a Ford Cortina PAS rack.

My 400SE should have a Supra rack, too, but i'm very sure it's an SD1 rack with a small difference at the input shaft housing which is 120° twisted
