TVR Wedge Paint Swatch ............. anyone have it?
Discussion
I bought one via the well-known auction site you allude to back in September '11. It has about 20 colour swatches, each labelled on the back. Unfortunately, they just give the colour names, such as "gold metallic" or "ivory"' etc, etc, rather than the paint codes.
It has clear panels of a 280i and 350i at the front that buyers could put the colour of their choice behind to see if they liked the look of it. Personally, I cant see why TVR didn't use a computer.

Thanks for digging this out for me. Interesting, I meant to bid on this at the time, but as ever too busy working and not Wedging, seems a quirky thing.
I am particularly interested in the old skool colour schemes, 80's retro look. I have been collecting pics of late and have a few of very retro looking FixedHead Wedges.
I am not sure if there has been a full on colour to part code listing, but I am sure that if there was, someone on here would know/have it.

I did see one, on Friday in fact, but it was in the hands of John Wadman at TVR North America. I have seen those ones for sale on eBay out of the USA, as well as one that I don't think has the cut-outs. The fellow selling them has lots of automotive literature - if I see him selling one again I will PM you.
Cheers Al

Much appreciated, look forward to it,
