Had a bit of a purchase today. I couldn't help myself it was such a good price.

Bit of a faff to get a Wedge on it as its not really designed to lift this type of car. But its going to make my rear Chassis and Brake refurb a lot easier.

If any one want to take advantage feel free to drop round as I'm only planning to keep it for about a month or so.

I have the same type of lift, I use it when doing work on the wedge and other TVR's.

They are a great bit of kit.
Even when I have my new 4 poster lift in the garage I will still use mine for chassis work like the above pic, great purchase mate!

I cant try it at the mo because I have no engine in my Griff but would be interested in it when your shifting it on, assuming I can get mine on it. How does it actually lift? Is that an electric cable going to it?
Cheers

The guy who ran the storage facility where I used to keep my Tasmin had a lift of that design; he used it to lift VW campers! Bloody scary to see the vans rocking like hell when he was braying things with a club hammer...

Hi Ian

It's hydraulic. 240v motor running a pump for up and solenoid for down. Just two buttons and a lamp on the controller. You are welcome to come and take a look if your anywhere near me.

I'm very impressed with it to be honest. I think it gets the car about 3 and a half feet off the ground. Anymore and windscreen surround would hit the garage door. So pretty good for home use.
