Well amongst all the other things I am doing with the car at the moment I had decided to replace and update the standard Ford plastic bottle and separate washer motor.

So I decided to go down the the stainless route supplied by one of the guys advertising here on PH, suitable for the Chim / Griff.

So here is what is going into the car , comes with its own bracket but did have to source the pump to suit which is a standard Ford Capri / Escort item at a few £'s off FleaBay I will update when fitted but it is very good quality and should suit the engine bay.

Don't suppose its a site glass/clear tube to observe how much is in it.
Good looking unit though, would hear the water up pretty quick with amount of heat under engine bay.
I've got a stainless expansion tank on mine and I can't leave my hand on mote many nano seconds once hot,I didn't think of that when I had it made up!

There is no "window" to see the level unfortunately but got to say the quality, finish and welding are great...

I fill mine when it runs out - even though I can see through the side - so why bother?

Looks nice - the pump isn't much "under the level" though so will struggle after it's only 1/2 empty. Assuming the cap is at the top?

The pump neck is not pushed fully home in the pic so it goes down almost to the bottom of the tank with a small filter so will be fine. Capacity is 2 litres so should be sufficient, will keep an eye on the bottle temp though!
