evening Guys
Well trying to sort the last of the wiring out and am unsure about the fan unit, am thinking the black from the fan goes to the black on the wiring loom and the coloured wire fixes to brown and orange, could some please help as really dont want to mess this up leaving me having to replace the fan motor

all the best

Ralph

Hi,

I can't think of any way the wrong wiring would damage the motor, the most likely mistake would make the fan run backwards.

Easy to check, either with a naked flame or piece of paper.

Cheers

Hi Danny
ok cheers mate, does the wiring link to the senor on the side of the rad please, as its been bypassed to run continuously and am not sure which wires are connected, i am asuming that the two brown coloured are from the sensor?

cheers

I would guess the 2 wires linked together by the short jumper wire connect to the switch in the radiator. It wont matter which way round they go

Yes,those two wires linked by the short lead would go to the otter switch in the rad, imagine they go back to rely which in turn powers the fan.
Have been fitting my new rsd and fans this weekend, gone for something more powerfull to shift the heat, bit of a challenge getting them in there but theyre in, kit from kenlowe included relays, stat and twin speed option with an over ride wire too, just got to wire it all in now.
