Ok - 'light' resto - interior/electrics complete aside from window motor on its way.
Bodywork and leather came out very well.
Whilst I knew the chassis was good I wanted to remove the muck/waxoyl to see what was underneath - fresh white paint in most areas - surely this can't be the original 24 yr old chassis paint?

Last pic shows colour when in light - a lovely metallic burgundy/brown..

A few pics of it mid work:

Hi Paul

That's my old 350i "Neo"

I have a great pic of it pictured at BBWF next to Adam Q's SX as his reg is G321 NEO

I bought it in 2004 and only sold it to a Biker friend to get my 400SE in about 2007
I know it then went thru at least 3 people before it reached you

If you want to pm me your email address then I can pass on quite a lot of info

Cheers
Trickie

This is how it left my custody in 2007

I loved it and it was a great reliable car with a great sound
It was only the 400 itch that made me sell

Cheers

Thanks for the comments and great pics Trickie thank you.

Only changes I can see are :

- Tower View roll bar;
- SE rear spoiler;
- lattice wheels are now sprayed black apart from rims - not sure which I prefer?;
- new alarm and stereo system/speakers;

I notice the push button START was on your car back then - this isn't an OEM item is it?

The exhaust silencer box looks like a long cherry bomb - subtle crackles on the over run and not too loud...

Regards, Paul.

The push button start was just to get rid of the cigarette lighter which was never used

I remembered though that I did uprate the brakes to those WMS 4 pot calipers soon after I got it
Then had lots of trouble with squeaky brakes until we managed to find a good pad to match

Cheers
