A previous post suggested that front side light / indicator replacement lense could be purchased from Reliant.
Are these the later 350i type with indicator to outside and diagonal spaced fixing screws (which I need) or earlier style with horizontal fix or 400 type ?

David, I have only recently come across PH since my purchase of a TVR 350SE , it is still complete and original, having looked back at some of your earlier posts - if I can be of help or you need to 'copy' anything from my car get in touch since we are only in South Lakes. I have tried to email but cannot get through.

Great - thanks - will send you my e-mail

There remains a lot of work to complete but my car now has a new nose cone and has just done its first 12 miles to the paint sprayer.

It may do a few more test miles before winter but my target is Spring.

Thanks for that Dickymint, and the wedgepages look interesting. PH and wedgepages were not around when i last had a TVR about 10 yrs ago (a 350I) so Ive obviously seen sense and returned to the fold.
You guys are welcome to visit anytime.

Think you mean Renault? They were used on the Renault 12. Last time I go some, they were £80 a pair and took 6 weeks to turn up.

Saw an old (mid '80s - the 'new' ugly one) XJ Jag.
Looked like the front side/indicater lights are the same as I have on my '87 350i.
Can someone confirm this?

Hi guys,
Just seen your posting about indicator side lights on
wedges.
I have some brand new lenses complete. Fits 280/350
etc.
Unfortunately my website is not up and running yet.
They will be included on there when it is.

(Also on my website I will have some well flash - every TVR owner should have one, mini moto pocket bikes. At the right price with full parts backup.
Great fun, for weekends and car shows)

I tried ringing the Reliant spares number given earlier, but got the predictable reply "which model Reliant do you have, Sir?". On being told that it wasn't such, the reply was less helpful. However I have recently got the off-side front indicator/side light lens from my local Reliant dealer, Michael's of Selby, 01757 270002. Price was £12 + VAT and postage. The Reliant part number is 92963. They still have one more in stock, and possibly a second-hand one, together with at least one complete lens/lamp holder unit. I don't know the part number of the near-side lens, but the number above would be a good start.

In case any one has any doubts as to which light unit I have on my 1983 Tasmin 2, it is the one on p.107 of the bible, third from the bottom. There are two fixing screws, on a diagonal, and the maximum dimensions of the whole lens are 152 mm. by 58 mm. The Reliant part was a perfect fit. Michael's said that the unit was no longer made in France, but they thought that it was still made in Spain.

It was used on SOME Rialtos, but I think the Robin one was different. Anybody want an anorak, worn once...?
