Hi

We are just doing so work on my S2, which looks in great condition and the interior is fantastic!

But remove the sills and there's a different story!

This car is not a keeper I purchased it to refurb it, so it can then be put back on the road for somebody else to enjoy it.

I could just cover the out riggers in some underseal etc and then replace the sills and get a MOT.

But no it's time for a new set of out riggers.

So CR-Automotive are going to replace them!

It was not in my budget so I will see what it's going to cost!

But at least the car will have a new set of outriggers when it come to pass it to a new owner!

Good move on replacing them and doing it properly, so good on you! I hate seeing it when others try and patch up a bodge job just to move something on and potentially pass on a car to someone unknowing who is then driving around in something unsafe.

I've seen worse!

It would be better to have the outriggers done in stainless or galvanised - fit and forget then...
