Guys

Can anyone recommend somewhere near Staffs/Mids for TVR paint work. I need to get my front bumper, valence and boot lid painted to a better finish. They don't really match the rest of the car. I've been told this can be a problem with yellow cars?

Dont mind travelling within reason 50m radius.

Thanks Karl.

I know petrol is expensive these days but a 50 metre radius? Surely you could go a couple of miles for your P+J.... ;^)

Mileage isomit an issue Adam as I cover from Hamilton to Fareham with work. So I do get around a bit. Went to Ramsgate last week for a set of ramps. So you are correct nothing is to much for my pride and joy.

Add to that the fact that at 70mph my car does 70mpg fuel is not much of an issue either.

Problem is its a saloon car so getting the bits in is the problem. I doubt the front valence will fit on the back seat of a BMW 320d? biggrin

You do realise that once you've had them painted it'll be the rest of the car that doeesn't match...? biggrin

I'll be down Fareham way myself next week, got some more pipelines to decommission in Pompey...

its hard to paint the boot lid to get a great match without going into the sides next to the boot lid to lose the colour (tricks the eye) if you only paint the boot lid you might be no better off ' and that would be with most colours ! the front valance and bumper you might get away with panel painting?

I can recommend this chap in Tipton, West Mids...

He has some exotic cars go through his place. He sorted out the paintwork on my Chimaera a couple of years ago to a very high standard for reasonable money after some metail railings jumped out into the carriageway...

Thanks mate

I'll have a look. Could be ideal as I work round the corner in Great Bridge two days a week. Could just drop him the whole car off.

Cheers Karl
