Gearbox Drain Plug

Going to change the ATF for Mobil 1 + Moly next week. What size is the gearbox drain plug - from memory I think it's pretty big (about 30mm?) so I'll need to buy a big spanner once size is confirmed.

cant remember the exact size, but IIRC I use a large adjustable on it, rather than buying a ring / open ended spanner.

Same here. Not worth buying a socket (though it might be 1 1/8" or 1 1/4").
