When I bought mine for the first 6 months at first I thought I was cleaning dirt off it, but it always turned out to be excess polish that had built up in various crevices - never known a car to be so clean!

How does that work then, if it was the last to leave the factory and registered in 2002

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

does this mean the 2003 one below which is lower mileage and £30k cheaper sat in a dealers showroom for before being registered

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

Personally I would go the Sagaris route for this sort of money or start a collection to compete with Mr Tank

Hi

Yes it will sell to some collector no doubt of that! May even at that price!

Goes to prove a car in original condition with history will always obtain the best value!

Hi from my knowledge the £70k car was 100 of the last 100 built!
The other car was the 3 of the last 100 built why it was a 03 plate no idea the other car was the last car built so it has the mantle of being the last built no matter what. So that's why its being offered at that price. Personelly its to high a price as there are car with lower milage about. But for a collector the last built will mean just that and they will want it.

I have the last 350i built and its a SE as well, as you know but I don't think it worth that silly money, yes it worth more than say a Standard S1 or S2 or other SE. Especally in the condition its in! The same goes for my num 1 Production vehicle that worth more than say another S1 because its the first!
But in reality they are all only worth what somebody else is prepared to pay!

I'm not sure if I have the last 400SX built - or the first??? Either way it's rarer than some old Griff...

If it were my car I might price it even higher.

The owner of a TVR dealership has a Griff that he likes and intends to keep. He is happy to display in the showrrom for visitors to see. Instead of saying not for sale or POA he's said 'well if you want it to the tune of £70k then it's yours.

Are you going to buy it for £100K then?

I'll try again for you: how much would someone have to pay you for one of your cars if you didn't want to sell it?

Good question, maybe I would price it at a ridculous price that nobody would but it at, like £70k, but then if I didnt want to sell it, I wouldnt put it in classifieds would I

That's what I thought before reading this thread but from some of the postings here it may not be enough.
