In weak moment I might have bid on a slightly damaged 280i on fleabay, how difficult is it to replace the front bumper on a wedge?
Obviously I may not win it so this might not be important lol

My early wedge with the 'corrugated' moulded type bumpers has just two bolts, one on each side behind the side/indicator lights.

So if it's only the bumper, it's easy as long as the screws/bolts aren't too badly corroded

OOPs - forgot to add - I can't remember if I had to take the headlights out to get at the nuts behind the bolts or not....

I dont think that car looks too bad. other than the bumper which i think is an easy fix/ replace, i would be tempted too. but would like to have look before bidding!

Hi

It looks a bit more than front bumper!

The front wing looks as its had some damage!

To be sure somebody needs to look at it before you buy it,

Please don't just rely on the pics only!

If its only the bumper then a simple fix but I don't think so!

I do think there is a bit of damage to the front edge of the wing, but I have a friend who does bodywork and should be able to sort that out fairly easily. He has another bumper which comes with the car.

Are there any wedgers in/around kent that could have a look at it for me?
