Hi All

Does anyone know what size the threads are on the brake hoses on a 350i. My set from Rally Designs don't fit they are very slightly bigger threads.

It's looking doubtfully now if I'll be able to get it ready for next Sunday unless I can find a rear hose sharpish.

Cheers Karl.

Hi Karl

The rear hose is different than the front. in length and dimesion.

Sorry I don't have the correct size to hand. But the fronts are Metric and the rears are UNF

I lot of dealers only sell them as a set!

There is a correct set on F-bay which I have used my self with no problems! Item number:111043387972 but the say they are temp out of stock, so even that will not help, sorry!

All I can say then say is to try RT racing they may be able to help!

Andy

Thanks Andy

I'll give them a bell on Monday. I haven't tried the fronts yet so they may be ok. It was the Goodrich three hose kit I bought that was for the Tasmin. I was told its basically the same as the v8 kit but cheaper.

I am desperate to get it back together for Chatsworth. But stupidly cut the old rear hose when I dropped the diff assembly out. Or I could have used that as a temp measure.

Cheers Karl

According to what I wrote here:

http://www.wedgeneering.co.uk/TVR%20390SE%20p11.ht...

the rear fittings are all 3/8" x 24tpi UNF.

Thanks Martin

I've had loads of stuff off Neil, he always manages to get parts out nice and fast. I've texted him and he's replied saying he can't see it being a problem. So fingers crossed I might be at Chatsworth.

I'm going to plod on today and get the diff etc back in and hopefully get the car back on its wheels to make room for the new arrival tomorrow evening.

Cheers Karl.

If it's just the connections for the hoses the front are 10mm standard metric fitting and the one rear is imperial 1/2 inch fitting which took me by surprise me when I replaced my lines
