I think Dix's numberplate ends like that !!
Interesting choice of 'red' for the seats. Unless the colour is not coming across well in the photos, I assume it will at some point get a full retrim. Very fond of the 350i FHC, having spent hundreds of hours in mine. Will be interesting to see how it's sale goes - hopefully we will see it bought by someone on here, and will be able to follow any renovation work that is done.

The rear screen was toughened glass so would not crack it would have shattered unless it has been changed sometime for a laminated screen or Perspex screen
I thought I was going mad but you all seem to agree with me. For proof of what they do ask Marcus what the back screen on his fhc did when it hit his head.If it really goes for that sort of price it will be cheap for a 350fhc
I quite liked this.......i'm sure there is a deal to be done.......didnt sell so assume still available

I have been and had a nosy around that car.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271200340070?ssPageName=...
positives:- body and paint in good nick, door cards, dash and headlining good, wheels look in ok condition
Negatives- no Exhaust system from manifolds back (£500ish for a new one)
seller hasnt had it running so no guarantees engine and autobox are ok
brakes well who knows
no seats
Chassis-well what I could see of it looked ok but I could only really see the front half.
I did have a conversation with someone here about this, I think he could be persuaded to take less than the asking but I decided this was too big a project for me for my first wedge.

Sadly from personal experience I can confirm that in an accident the rear screen shatters into a thousand pieces.HI , just come from Brightwells where I bid on the 350i FHC , but lost it to someone who paid £2600 plus 10% + Vat . Hope someone on here got it and will take care of it. Was in pretty good nick really, engine sounded sweet and with a good exhaust note too. Exterior had one or two small dings, interior good with nice re=trimmed seats, but just a small of tidying to finish. A good T-cut etc would bring the paint up a bit better. Oh and the rear glass panel that goes from tail lights etc was cracked, but that's not the end of the world. Had a good uprated and twin-fanned radiator fitted. All in all a good investment and a day to day runner if wanted ......................cheers Mark
