Hi All,

So after deciding I am going to keep the wedge, i went out last night to do a few jobs and decided i would give the outriggers their annual scrub and coat of paint and the usual screwdriver whack...and much to my horror i found a hole right at the front (where the mud collects). Both sides are the same!

So, with my decision to keep i have decided to do a full body off and retore her to her former glory. Quite daunted by the task but also very excited about the result!

Is there a thread / guide for removing the body?

Cheers all, Matt

I'm sure there must be a thread somewhere, but not sure where, I'm sure this is obvious but..

Disconnect EVERYTHING (that connects the body to the chassis)

Label EVERYTHING (I'm always amazed when I come to put thing like this back together that there is one thing that seems to have no place to go our 2 items and one place to connect them etc)

Be VERY Careful. (You don't want too little "lifting" power and break something, most likely the fibreglass body? or an ancillary component you thought had enough clearence etc.)

Wasn't there a recent (ish?) Wheeler Dealers Programme where they did this on a TVR (Not wedge, I think Cerb) might give you a few pointers too?

Not much help really but it's a start?
