Hi
There's a few video's attached to the add, which show the car running and also the outriggers, which look pretty good

It was a bit of a tongue in cheek suggestion anyway Ziga.

It doesnt look bad at all but for me the need for a new hood straight away rules it out as I need the car to be (more or less) watertight as it will have to live on the drive for a couple of weeks whilst I sell the escort.

laugh...TVR's are fantastic cars but you are asking way too much for a watertight one..Actually mine never used to leak until i changed the door seal's..They did need changing as some bits were hanging open..Seriously though even if you have one that doesnt leak you should treat it to a fleece lined..Weather-proof..Breathable outdoor cover..Not a howlfrauds special although i use one over a breathable fleece lined cover..Delilah lives outside in all weather's..The little street urchin!...Maybe once the garage is empty i will tuck a V8 up in there..Ziga

Thats why I added in the more or less bit about being water tight lol.
I realise a soft top (especially a tvr) is never going to be 100% dry and I think it will need a cover even in the garage so I have been looking at some on ebay.

Are the half covers any good?
I have seen one on the bay that is a waterproof multi layer jobby that basically covers the hood/windscreen.

Or is a full cover a better idea.

See at 0:10 of the second video when the hammering tone turns from dull to a ringing sound? That's what it should sound like everywhere. When it's dull, the insides of the tubes are corroded, and you don't get the nice "Ding".

God I'm sad, watching videos of sills on youtube....
