Hi

As some of you may have realised at the weekend, I have extreme difficulty in getting into my car due to the lack of bend in my knees.

To get into the passangers side I have to put right leg in then go into the car and try and get as far across to the other side so I can get the left leg in with out bending it!

It's easier if the roofs off!

Now to get into the drivers side its even harder and to get behind the steering wheel off them is near impossible due to the steering wheel!

It took ten mins to get into my 208i auto the other week!

Just found a simple fix woohoo detachable steering wheels should sort the problems.

Well I have a car fitted with one of those!

The "Yellow Beast" so I will give that a try at the weekend!

Then I will try to change gear for the first time in nearly 18 mths.

Good idea - just make sure it doesn't detach while at speed!

It's bad enough when the column adjuster flops down and the wheel goes all wobbly....

Andy. Where there is a will there is a way. You are determined, you are a fighter and you will do it. I, and many others have every confidence in you. Don't rush. Give it time, with your determination, and God willing, you'll be driving not one, but all of your of your cars.
