I recently drove a friend's Chim which had a 4.5 litre engine, and realised that I'd
really like a bigger engine! I did think about replacing the 3.5 with a 4 litre engine
or bigger, but I really cant be bothered with all the work involved. It just seems to me
to be easier to sell my 350i and use a bigger wedge to buy a bigger Wedge!
I've got quite attached to her (like you do) over the last 7 years and will be sad to see her go.
Hopefully it'll go to an enthusiast. There's nothing quite like a wedge
for sheer presence on the road so we'll see how it goes!

A little update
Car sold almost straight away for very close to the asking price. The blue
re-spray didn't extend all the way into the engine bay and I'm sure that might
have put some people off. Sold to a very nice chap from Oxford who spent an hour
checking everything over properly - as you should!
He's got a garage to keep it in and seems to want to look after it so I'm happy
that all the time and effort I put into it will not go to waste. Hopefully he'll
introduce himself on here before too long
I'm now on the lookout for a TVR with a bigger engine. Loads of choice out there
so wish me luck!
