Got a 350i yesterday.

No engine but all there otherwise. Good wheels, Space saver spare, hood cover, FSH, Stainless Exhaust, full 400/450 interior, PAS, A frame E plate series 2.. etc.

I thought I was buying a shagg*d 350 with loadsa bits missing - this was a pleasant suprise after a 5 hour drive

Thanks AM400 - I wasn't in the market for another Wedge but I can't resist a bargain - what a car

Question is:- Fit the body to the Racer and get it finished (At last I hear you cry) or fit the 4.6 race lump into the 350.

What's to choose from?

Why do you want to keep going round in circles when you can go and annoy the locals?

PS Did you get my seat belt e-mail?

Simon.

Cheers chaps.

AM mailed me the advert for the car and well it had to be done.

Tatty inside but has a complete and tidy 400 interior off a 28k miles car to potentially go in or to sell, Stainless Exhaust, recon gearbox and suspension, according to the history, rare bits for a car of this age such as a hood cover and space saver spare. Guy spent loads on it but left it on his drive near the seaside for 6 years so it looks windswept but is generally sound. The racer wins the vote - got to be done - but remember I want to go tarmac rallying as well, so it will be registered for road use. Now all I need is a job and then I can forget all ideas of selling the racer.
Simon - e mailed Mark ref: bits.

Don't forget Tas, if you are gonna strip it I would like first dibs on the Ashtray, Glovebox vaneer, door cap vaneer, drivers side window motor, steering wheel, dashboard clocks, seats, seat belts etc, etc, etc

Well done Gary.

I'd say continue with the racer and fit a cooking engine to the 350!

That's my spanner in the works!
