I had some Merc lattice wheels on my 350i for years, but the offset was wrong, they will sat about 12mm in

I drove the car for 15 years without noticing!

The "new" standard lattice wheels do appear to fill the arches slightly better, but unless you were looking for it your wouldn't notice.

Looks good, nice one mate, just trying to look at options on wheels, as either the SE ones are too expensive or ya can't get em! frown

Whats wrong with BBS lattice alloy's that are on it already?..I think they really suit the wedge!..Especially when they are refurbed with diamond cut & polished rims..Ziga

Nice one Ralph, I'll have a mooch at some different types.

Yeah I agree Zig, I'm just keeping my eye out that's all.
I love the SE 5 spoke ones, they are perfect!
But I need to other things sorted yet, just thinking out loud really.

Maybe you should buy the ones of Flee and hunt down some centre caps, they seem a good price to me.

It might be worth checking they are the correct offset first though

yes...They have been repaired as there were some nic's on the outer rim and then powder coated dark gold. Lacquered and then diamond cut & polished..I will have to use alloy wheel spray wax to keep the shine or i will be out there polishing every five minutes...scratchchin...Mind you i do that anyway...hehe..Im really looking forward to seeing them tomorrow...I will post up some before and after pics...Cheers...Ziga

Yeah I thought so, but I've just noticed its down in Kent as well, and I'm going on Hols this weekend.
May have to miss out on these.

That and all the other bits I need to do.
How would I check the offset by the way, sorry to sound thick! :/

Yeah that's the style.. The only thing that puts me off is they are quintessentially Merc.
My get mine sorted yet, as Zig has said, diamond cut rims and gold centres.

Hi Mate..Mine have gold centres already but in honesty gold suits burgundy really well..Black and Green cars also look good with gold spoke wheels..Sometimes colour coded wheels look good but it only suits certain colour cars..Can you photoshop your wheels to see if you like it?..If not i or someone else might be able to...Cheers...Ziga

Yeah well that's they scheme I'm going for,
Mines in the bodyshop at the mo, and when I re badge and decal it's all gonna be gold.
Especially with having tan seats.

I think you sent me some pics of gold wheels a bit back, it will defo suit the car.

I had these photo shopped on my car and there looked s**t lol, if your really intending on changing then you will need to move to a 17inch wheel mate and BBS RS are the ones to have, but they will need the centre bore machined to fit, if I was you I would leave well alone mate and have them refurbed, good luck with whatever you decide mate, cheers
