My old man normally potters about in dodge diesel, its as quick as a week in jail.
put him on the insurance for the 280. flipped him the keys, a bit of squeeze to get him in the drivers seat, but his face lit up when he started the engine up, an hour later and 50odd miles on the clock he roared back into the street like a teenager!
hes almost 70, and had a stroke a few years ago so i've been a bit nervous about him driving it before. fully recovered now and license back a couple of years ago, but a man in a tvr and he's 18 again. best fathers day present i've given him just to see his face.

For my part I popped up to Audley End for the classic car show where I also met my dad. Spotted a nice silver 390SE in the car park with a red roof - anyone on here? No-one in the car except just as I was leaving, so I gave a wave.

Nice one Marcus.

Lost my Dad six years ago, (never had the wedge then)

But today, i got up and went out for a long hoon, very spirited drive.

Just me, the car and my old man in spirit enjoyed tearing up around the Chilterns
