The left-hand door mirror on my 400SE fails to operate, electrical everything is fine, but there is a small part on the internal white operating mechanism broken. Result is that it can only be adjusted left and right and not up/down… Does anybody know the source of this part? I was told Rover SD1?

Thanks!

I think it's also used on a Saab 900/9000.

Does it look like this?

Found one, the Saab edition looks indeed the same
Thanks.

Chris, there are more topics on the actual glass, I couldn't find any topics on the mechanism.
Cheers

I found the easiest option for a replacement glass was to take a template to my local glaziers and get them to cut one. And it was cheaper than one that didn't fit properly from Halfrods
