Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to remove the servo. I was just going to replace the Master cylinder but the servo looks like it could do with a lick of paint. Also are there any pitfalls to look out for when replacing the master cylinder it looks straight forward enough but with TVR you never know do ya.

Hi Dix..The servo is bolted to the bulkhead..There are four bolts up near the top of the pedals..There is also a "U" type connection to the pedal which has a pin through it..When mine was removed it needed a small amount of leverage as there is a mastic type seal between the back of the servo and the bulkhead..(Engine side) that holds it on also..Make sure you replace this as water could get passed it and into the footwell...You might be better off leaving it where it is an painting what you can get at..The Brake master is fairly straight forward..Cheers...Ziga

They tend to rust underneath so get your brush right under there with some rustproofing undercoat and then smoothrite.

As already mentioned - held in by four nuts in the footwell.
It's heavily sealed in with silicone/mastic, so will take some prizing off.

Does the reservoir just pull apart from the master cylinder lads? Or am I not looking hard enough cause it seems stuck solid.
