There has been a few posts about loosing power later in the rev range.

Now i I haven't had mine out for a while for a few reasons.
But on my way back from the garage I noticed, around 4k revs it suddenly fealt like it was running on about 3cylinders.
Of coarse your brain skips the obvious and looks for the more expensive and problematic.
I went back to basics got a new Dizzy cap and rotor arm!
Sweet as a nut! It's never performed like that sinse I got it, my god I fealt like I was driving the car equivalent of Thor!!

It's a lucas actually, think both where just worn.
Can't believe how good it sounds.
Also it Feel like I'm push my foot into double cream!
Crazy I have a brand new BMW convertible outside,
And although its a great car, it bores me to tears!

Mine went through the same transformation when I changed mine, the rivet that held the blade in was loose.

Just shows ya doesn't it, you can have the biggest and best,
But if yer spark ain't good, it's all pointless!
Getting back into the interior I think, starting with recovering transmission tunnel,
In leather to match the seats, and possibly the back bits behind the seats, I'm even considering covering everything behind the seats in leather! Controversial I know!
