For sale on car and classic

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/

Looks to be a very early one to me, no pictures/mention of the chassis which is a bit worrying.
and it doesnt look to be sat quite square to me but that might just be the photo.

Thanks for opening my eyes to this site, an even greater choice of wedges for sale! There's a lot of choice at the mo, problem is, choosing and buying the best but within or near budget smile

Cars for sale in Ireland always seem cheap, always wondered why. Could it be the smaller market so lower demand?

Did anyone else notice the exhaust? Looks like the one on Andy's prototype - could it be another really early 350i?

Good point, I've often wondered if car prices can be regional like property prices...?

Think this is another one that was for sale ages ago. Vaguely remember looking at it myself then saw it was in Ireland and discounted it - it's a bloody long journey! smile

I am a bit undecided about that one, It looks lovely, obviously been really well looked after but its another 2.8 and I would like a v8 this time BUT if I bugger about looking for too long I will have lost all my top down fun this summer.
and it is at top end money for a v6 scratchchin

I just dont know what to do for the best.

Thing is its a good car that shouldnt need any thing doing to it..If you buy cheap you dont always get a bargain and end up sometimes spending loads more money trying to put things right..And in reality its not top dollar for a wedge even a 280..I have seen some sell for a lot more than that..It might just be worth emailing to find out if there is any negotiation on the price even though its been reduced..There's nowt harm asking mate...You wont find that many V8's for under 3.K and if you do you might just need to spend some money on them!...Here is a 350i..Its cheap but might need that again spending on it..Again worth a call..

Just had an email from Mr Tank offering me that dark blue 350 he had at the fest at a pretty reasonable price thats just a small stretch over what I wanted to spend, just need to check how much I have and see if I can afford it.

I can vouch for the spending money bit, I brought the one above about four weeks ago. It's now a rolling project, and you're spot on, on the amount required. To get an MOT on it has cost me pretty close to the same again. My goodness it's a different beast to my old S though.

Its still a lot of car for that money though..And TBH even if they are in good order you can still spend loads on personalising them to your taste..I dread to think what i have spent on my delilah..Which is now an SX280i...Although its been over three years if i had waited and saved the money i probably could of bought a SEAC..But woulda..Coulda..Shoulda...Hey ho..I still love my wedge and she is as quick if not a bit quicker than some V8's.... biggrin

I know, it's what I keep telling myself. It's a hell of a lot of car for not a lot of money, and it's a project. Who doesn't love a project. All TVR's are cracking on these days, they're all becoming projects, it's just a matter of budget. I think I'm going to enjoy my Wedge.
