A Big credit to the owner as I looked into buying this car just before the current owner bought it. I decided that this car needed a Lot of Time and Money spent on it and this was just not what I was looking to do after my nut and bolt rebuild on my S .
Well Done.

Looks great, but at the risk of being picky, it just needs some kind of surround for the head unit as the cage is a bit unsightly.

Awesome though, and congrats to the owner smile

It's a JVC head unit, might be the same as the one in my 390... and it's in upside-down biggrin Halfords special deal complete with autochanger for £150? whistle

I had a similar problem with my 1980 Tasmin, it was built before the DIN standard for car stereos was introduced and it was impossible to get a modern head unit to fit in flush. I made a fake front for mine (Pioneer KEX900, cost almost a grand new, I got it for free as it was faulty) so it looked like an old-fashioned cassette unit, complete with half a tape sticking out of the slot!
