You could say that it's a new toy, it's been at Rt for 2 years having a load of work done. I picked it up yesterday, did 100 miles or so and just wanted to check under there to see that all was ok, leaks etc, all fine. Wanting to get the interior done now, but had a great first day.

Hi Ziga, sure am glad to get it back. I will have to learn hoe to up load pics on here, and I will put some up for you to view my friend. It's a 390se, silver grey with red hood. It's had new pout riggers, full sus rebuild , new brakes( hi spec front calipers) new rear discs and calipers, Gaz adjusts les, powder coated, wishbones and chassis, new steering rack, rebuilt diff, engine work, loads of electrics and god knows what else. I now need to get the top half done , I.E interior, on that subject, what other seats can be used, will mgf seats fit? I am going to recarpet and do seats in red Bentley style diamond leather. PS Zoga if you come up for the photo shoot@ Donny you will see me there, cheers mate.

Nigel, I put a pair of Leather Griff seats in my 350i, as the originals (Vinyl not Leather) had split.

As you are going to recover in Leather they may be of use to you.

Let me know if you're interested, I'm on the S Yorks / Derbyshire border.

If you swap he seats, don't bin the old ones! Too many people have done this and spares are getting hard to find - contrary to some opinions, they were not lifted from a Jag/ Triumph/ forklift truck but made for TVR by Cambro.
IMHO there's nothing wrong with the original seat design, have them re-padded and re-covered and they'll see you out wink
