Hi
My temperature gauge moves up and down constantly whilst driving. I m going to replace the sender unit as part of trying to fix the problem. I ve looked online for a replacement but they all have a different connection to mine. Mine has a threadedconection that a nut screws on to and holds a brass ring which is connected to the wire.

All the ones i ve sen have spade connector on them. Its no problem to change the connector to a spade connection but itu makes me wonder if its the right part. Can i fit any sender unit for a rover v8 efi? My car is an '88 350i

Thanks

Jon

My experience with voltage regulators in the past is that it affects all gauges, one going up while the other goes down. i don't believe there is one fitted to the wedge.
