Shoot me now but i quite like them and wouldnt look to bad on a wedge, i all was thought tinted rear lights would look good and may be updated with LED lights...
I think these on a well upto date wedge like your Phil with big wheels modern mirrors and big brakes i dont think they would look out of place.

But Alpha,

Did no one tell you being a boy racer is a prerequisite for TVR ownershipbiggrin

Stu,

I've pinned down the colour of the car to a Glasurit F-car red with the least amount of orange:

For what it's worth, here are a couple of pictures of mine on that non-standard wedge:

Hi Phil...So would that just be Rosso then?...I like the classic Rosso Rubino..Although the later colours are more vibrant...Ziga

No Zig,

As the sticker says, Rosso Corsa.

I prefer a solid colour rather than a metallic like the Rubino.

I didn't realise E30 lights would fit a S2 wedge, any mods needed?

There's undoubtedly mod's required as they are a different size.

I believe even Henry's which look very similar to originals needed some minor body modification.

I'm just looking at alternatives, simple as that really.

Plus, it must be an 80's thing, but I like smoked lens (excluding spray can specials).

Henry has suggested his are in fact BMW E36 but turned round the other way.

They do indeed look very similar in shape to original Fuego's and among this selection one or two IMHO look halfway decent:

Thats would be the same as they painted the E30 Series BMW's then ... Rosso Rubino Red.
Looks loverly when you layer up the coats and really polish it well.

Yeah I'd seen the e36 before, they look like they would go straight on.
Very interesting!
Cheers pal

Im all for keeping with the original items, but on cars over 20 years old now where spares are starting to become difficult to source, a good aftermarket alternative would be good.

I think they're a good compromise and would fit the wedge well, obviously turn em the other way up but I would have em no problem.
