Spent the weekend at this event (chris Evans children in need gig)

There were some fantastic motors on display, mixed in with some nice entertainment in the form of live music, shows, funfair etc.

A bit too kid orientated for me (mine are grown up) but if some of you guys have a young family i would highly recommend it.
Camping facilities looks the way to go.....ample parking.

Done it now, probably not again as i like Revival and will go full on to Silverstone classic next year, maybe le mans classic too. (although as i posted on here before....we brits do it much better......only thing le mans offers better is the road trip)

Which is why i would travel to the Hebrides for a BBWF.....as its what i bought the car for.....to drive, not as a driveway ornament. (have breakdown cover so no sweat or worry)

The Scots guys (jonny etc) have a great craic travelling in convoy to the fest, and on the RNR.
I for one am jealous of that, and next year will be actively seeking out proper "road trips" (as well as popping down to the Ace, and croxley Green).
My car has had a few good trips this year, and i am becoming more confident in her abilities.

I hope BBWF goes ahead, wherever it is i will attend (ettington or not)

Re the Carfest, Several car clubs there including TVR Cambridge.........only a few cars mind, usual chims, sag, cerb and even a V8s...................NO WEDGE THO !!!!!!!

Anyone else go ?

Well done Gavin! Like Elvis said you'd travel 'through the rain and the heat and the sleet and snow'.

You are the man!
