Thats right, my new (to me) 350i arrives in the morning!
I am like a kiddy at christmas, cant wait for my prezzy to arrive biggrin
Just a pity I cant face wasting a months car tax for the sake of 4 days (that I am working 2 of anyway)
so I cant drive her until monday next week.

Good luck with the new motor cock.

Having met you at the fest, i found you to be enthusiastic and excited about owning a wedge whatever the model......qualies for wedge ownership.

Enjoy

Gavin

Popped out to go to the bank this morning, went in lidl to get something for my lunch and bought a fire extinguisher! You cant say I havent learnt from my experience smile

Just sat now waiting for it to arrive, I have already changed my mind and will be going to tax it as soon as I have the logbook in my hands. Just too excited to leave it until next week.

I am going to be very, very careful with this car until I get used to the power and the LSD, I really dont want to bin it.

Thanks for all the good wishes and compliments on the car, I thought it was way too good for me to be able to afford it so I was surprised at what Mr Tank was willing to let it go to me for. I was heartbroken to lose the last one but with the nice payout from the insurers it meant I could buy what I originally wanted in a wedge.

You are not wrong, that green/cream interior in Carob's car made it particularly special, remember it well.

Congrats, the car does look great, maybe a wooden Steering wheel, I have seen a number of the colour coded wheels of late. Enjoy fella sonar

I'm not convinced by the leather rim, I do think a nice wooden rim would look lovely.
The leather is a bit grubby so I am going to give it a good clean, and I think I am going to buy some renovo for the hood, the plastic is a bit cloudy and the cloth bits a bit on the grubby side.
I also need to give the oil pressure sender and gauge a look (it goes off the scale as soon as the ignition goes on) and the fuel gauge is worse than useless, as u will have seen it caused me a breakdown earlier by reading 2/4 when i was on fumes!

I love this car already, I did about 40 miles in it this afternoon and got a "nice car" from a group of kids, some polish(i think) guy wound his window down at the lights, and talked to me about the car, he knew it was a tvr and loved it when I gave it a big blip on the throttle and I have been grinning like a cheshire cat every time I either accelerated or backed off the throttle and got the chorus of pops and bangs from the exhaust.
