Very nice... would love to add an S to my garage, and if I didnt have small children, I could see one being used as an every day driver.
Very under rated car the S ... if you wait, you might even get an S3 (slightly longer doors, and nicer dash IMHO) for around the £5k mark when the weather turns.

It all depends what you want and what you want it for. That S certainly looks like a nice car. Having owned both a V8 wedge and a 2.9 S in the past I can tell you they are two totally different cars. The 4 litre Wedge is a beast and the performance and the sound is superb and no comparison with the S. Yes, the S is a TVR, yes, it makes a nice sound, yes, it's a nice sports car, but so is an MX5.

I have also driven / have mates who have had V8S's and S2's S3c's ... what I will say is a sports exhaust on a 2.9 is like having holes drilled into your skull ... absolutely crazy.
Generally, the S's are less fussy than the Wedges, they hold their money a lot better and aside from the stupid split roof, are just as nice to motor in.
Oh and next time you see a V8S, have a look at the geometry of the bodywork compared to the wheels .... nearly all of them are mis-aligned at the factory !!!..
