Hi gang,

I'm sorry, I know the subject of insurance is oft discussed....

Any recommendations?
Does it really make any difference phoning them rather than accepting their online quote?
I'm not a TVRCC member, does this really make a difference?

I'm 44, and I'm a good boy smile

Regards

Jay

Ring round every time and haggle on the price there is always a bit of flexibility to be had. I use Heritage Classic but there are lots to play off against each other for the best price. Mine is £145 for 6k miles fixed value of the car, windscreen cover and £150 excess, that is for a registered 500i so shop around fella!

I would recommend RH after their service with my claim, I rang them at 4pm on the day of the fire,(a thursday) I had a phone call from the recovery company at 8am friday, car was picked up on the monday, they made an offer to settle 10 days later, after a bit of negotiation the money hit my bank the following monday. Just over 2 weeks from the fire to the cash hitting my account, and tbh a very fair offer in the first place.
Then when I bought the 350 they changed the insurance over for £30, I had expected to have to take a new policy out.

I've used a number over the last 3 decades an recently used ManningUK - Cost me £100 and a few pence. Very personal service and you can haggle. Give them a call.
Cheers

Glad your sorted well Jay

Was just about to say I moved to RH recently and saved money

Mine just gets cheaper and cheaper every year - one advantage to getting older (and wiser)

Enjoy

Cheers
