Assuming you're going to go for a similar tyre on the 14s then you shouldn't have any issues. The 14s with a similar tyre aspect ratio will be very slightly smaller than 15s reducing your rolling radius which in effect will reduce the overall gearing of the car. Would think it's not going to be a bug difference and you'll probably not notice it in everyday use biggrin

Cheers mate it seems 195 65 14 will be the nearest,
It's the 195 that concerns me slightly.. It's got 205s at the moment.

I've picked up these beauties I think they will look great?

Hi Rik..Just had a thought would the speedometer still read the correct speed if the wheel is smaller?..I have a feeling you will be going faster according to the speedo than you actually are..The other way round and you will be speeding..I think as long as the overall diameter is matched then you should be ok...Cheers...Ziga

PS:Those wheels look really nice.

Hi. my wheels are too wee as well. I read 75mph when i'm doing 70mph. So the difference at lower speeds isnt too bad.

Yes, the 14s were fitted with 205/60s originally on the Wedges.

Your car may accelerate slighter faster with lower profiles, but you'll run out of revs sooner, and economy will suffer slightly. Harder ride too.

Another point.

Check the 14s will fit over the brakes.

If the front brakes have been uprated to vented type Granada...they may not go over them.

That made me think there i have recently changed my alloys from the 15" lattice with 205/65 goodyear tyres on to 17" 235/40 toyo's and after market wheels. Checked the full height from tyre top to bottom and it is pretty much the same at 23 and a bit inches phew!!

Cheers Dix, I love em, slight concern on them with my colour of wedge, but if they do go on the front, I'll take that risk! smile
