Being a sparks myself, I have in the course of my work, unfortunately come across a number of instances where the above guidance has been followed yikes followed by some not so hilarious consequences.... It's shocking (literally!) what some people do.....
This public service announcement is now over biggrin

I've seen that too, the 1400Amp version can be de rated to 1000A by using a Chinese made set screw

When working on the TVR I Always keep a bottle of this handy...

Straight up story, Now I am no sparky but I got told this last year by a sparky superintendent on a job I was on. To local Kazak sparkies where working on some system and they where unsure if it was live....So after 3 they both touched it together. Sparkies thrown a good distance and badly burnt....

The mind boggles on some jobs.

That sort of makes sense - by touching it they made a parallel circuit and shared the load, one on his own would have been "frying tonight" ;^)

Honestly Adam the Super just looked at me in the meeting shook his head and said, these feckers are going to kill themselves. Wouldn't care he was a great guy who looked after his workforce, but you cannot babysit them all day.

I love it.
I was in Lesotho a few years ago teaching computers with a charity and this kinda stuff is standard practice out there. Before teaching in any school we had to re wire the entire place because every single one of them was lethal. One school had 30 computers and no electricity just a string of extension leads coming across a main road with big a single fuse in any of them.
