My wedge gives me a buzz every time I get in it. But just been thinking if I could stick another car in the stable next to it what would it be.

For me, Ariel Atom Supercharged. Not plush but fun!!!!

What about you guys?

Corvette C3 or De Tomaso Pantera GTS. Both 70's super cars I have always dreamed of owning.

Longchamps is a bit like a beamer with blistered arches! Could it have been the Mangusta?

Definitely Detomaso Pant Wetter - ony ever seen one on the road in real life on A14 roundabout - bright blue GTS - WOW!!!

Or of course the original wedge - the Countach - I'll only ever be able to afford a replica but a replica is defo on my bucket list...

IF I was feeling rich, a Jaguar XJ220, preferably converted to a racing V12 like it should have had originally!

Currently I have a X300 XJ Sport, which is nice in a "big old bus" kind of a way. Still does a nice "Scaulded Cat" impression when asked too.

A Honda NSX.

Then a garage extension.
Then

Mk1 Fiesta 1300 super sport in orange/red
Jag XK 150
Aston Vanquish 'S'
an early TVR V8 Tuscan
something big nd American with big rear wing things like the ghostbusters car.

Then another garage extension.

Then possibly a divorce

Then

Porker 928 S4
a mint electric blu Honda CRX V-Tec

And possibly a change to my every day car for a mazda 6 MPS..

I NEED MORE SPACE.

I'd love a delorean, I know they're crap but they look cool, they have the coolest story and they're the only car worth mentioning ever built in Ireland. Can't afford one though so I am considering a Lotus excel as a spare car at the moment.
I also WILL have a good early saab 900 turbo as soon as they qualify for classic tax. I've owned two saabs so far and i reckon third one is the charm.

Tough choice this one! I love a good eighties wedge so my money goes on a detomaso pantera..although I love a convertible, that car is just too cool!

Here's my other car that sits next to my wedge smile

Well, (purists close your ears), the best buzz I had was from my Marlin kit car, equipped with a tuned 2500 Triumph L6. As this car is pretty light, it's off the line acceleration was pretty spectacular (raced a Porsche turbo from the lights once, and kept up with it up to about 60mph).

It also stuck to the road really well, despite having humble Spitfire/GT6 underpinnings, so was good for fast road driving.

BUT very, very basic, and best driven with roof down, and crash helmet for motorways...

Hallsie - neat list.

I remember a long time ago, the very early Mk1 1300 Fiestas were real fun to drive, great handlers, and went very well indeed. The XR2 seemed to have middle age spread, bigger engine, but somehow not as much fun...
